A Wealth Manager asked Craigcrook Management Services to run a training session and practice interviews on an FCA Themed Visit on Suitability.
A Training session was delivered on FCA Themed Visits highlighting the key issues; implications and risks. This was followed by file reviews and practice interviews in as realistic conditions as possible based on our experience of such Themed Visits.
A report was prepared for the client reporting on the results and highlighting risks and weaknesses. We also proposed a risk mitigation programme to help the client be well placed for an FCA Themed Visit in the near future.
We could organise such a session highlighting the risks and weaknesses surrounding the Consumer Duty which was recently introduced by the FCA.
